PC-Control of the Camera If the E-System camera is connected to the PC, it can be controlled from the computer and the recorded images are stored directly onto the hard drive. With Olympus Studio 2.1, E-System photographers can profit from Live View functionality at the same time as the camera is being controlled by the connected computer(available on all E-System cameras featuring Live View including the new E-3).
Virtual Light Box The virtual light box works in almost exactly the same way as a standard light box for checking film. Images can be checked and selected on the PC so you can easily put together groups of images for further processing. By enabling you to quickly identify the handful of images you want from hundreds of pictures, it saves you precious time.
Easy Image Editing Many edit functions can solve most of the upcoming demands to edit an image within the software. This includes tone curve or colour corrections, distortion corrections, red-eye removal and much more.
Automatic tone adjustment Automatic adjustment of tone curves in individual image sections so that tone gradation appears natural even in parts darkened by backlighting or shadowed by excessive front lighting.
The improved RAW- development process allows to create the perfect image from your shot as RAW.
Batch Processing This can carry out a list of editing procedures on a whole group of images at the same time. For example, distortion can be corrected or a colour filter applied on more than one file at a time. The general image enhancement of all shots from a shooting session can be carried out quickly. Or if you find a perfect setting to process your RAW-image, you can store this and later apply this to the whole photo session.
