New lenses for E-System users
Timed to coincide with the launch of the E-400, Olympus is also introducing two new ultra-compact ZUIKO DIGITAL lenses. The ED 14-42mm 1:3.5-5.6 (equiv. to 28-84mm on a 35mm camera) is perfect for standard use while the ED 40-150mm 1:4.0-5.6 (equiv. to 80-300mm on a 35mm camera), which weighs in at an incredibly small 250g, offers much more magnification power.

Software Patch available for Olympus Studio & Viewer
Software Patches in all languages are now available on the Olympus Japan website for owners of Olympus Studio and Viewer. This patch improves the stability of the [Update Firmware] function and now supports the RAW development of SP-320 files. More

Most people know UK photographer Dennis Morris through his iconic images of Bob Marley and the Sex Pistols. But his photography is much more than that. His influences are from the great reportage photographers such as Bill Brandt, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Franck, Diane Arbus and Richard Avendon to name a few. Olympus’ web magazine, Pursuit, features a gallery of photos from his latest project ‘Dreamtime’. More

Patrick Lichfield exhibition
During the course of 2005 the late Earl, who passed away in November 2005, personally selected these images, both commissioned and non-commissioned, for display in the 2006 exhibition at his family home, Shugborough, near Stafford. The exhibition will run until the 27th October 2006. More

The ZUIKO DIGITAL Top Pro range of lenses have been awarded the European Imaging and Sound Association's (EISA) "European Professional Lens 2006-2007" award for the models ED 7-14mm 1:4.0, ED 35-100mm 1:2.0, ED 90-250mm 1:2.8, ED 150mm 1:2.0 and ED 300mm 1:2.8. EISA, which comprises 50 specialist editorial offices from 20 European countries, stated: “These compact and robust lenses are the perfect choices for sports, event or nature photography.”
