Olympus shows wooden camera at Photokina
One of the most talked about products on display at this year’s Photokina was the Olympus prototype of a wooden camera. The new 3-dimensional compression moulding process, using Japanese cypress wood, creates material strong enough to be used for the outer casings of other electronic products.

Across the Atlantic

More functions - for free!
Users of the Olympus Master or Master Plus software can bring their copy up-to-date now by clicking on the “software update” button in the main menu of the software. The latest version, Master 1.42, includes several improvements, such as the display of the new scene modes “Nature Macro” and “Underwater Snapshot” in the properties menu.
