Ancient Dyke celebrated in new book
Offa's Dyke stretches the length of Wales, marking its border with England. Built 1200 years ago, it boasts beautiful views, an abundance of wildlife, and a walking route of international importance - features celebrated in the book 'Offa's Dyke - A journey in words and pictures' by E-System photographer Jim Saunders. Jim also worked on the BBC Wales TV series on Offa's Dyke, to be aired in spring 2007.

RSPCA Young Photographer Awards
Stunning shots of animals in all their diverse beauty – from an elephant’s trunk to a fly on a leaf – have been shortlisted in the RSPCA Young Photographer Awards 2006, in association with Olympus.

The Observer Hodge Awards 2006
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Observer Hodge Awards, proudly sponsored by Olympus. The exhibition of the winning and commended works will run from Fri 10 Nov 2006 until Fri 19 Jan 2007 at The Guardian.

Winners of the awards were presented with Olympus D-SLRs, with the first prize winner receiving additional Olympus lens equipment, at The Guardian & Observer archive and visitor centre in London on Thurs 9 Nov. More
