What is the mode dial?
Make your selection according to the shooting condition.

SCN |
: Scene mode |

Turn the mode dial to select the shooting mode.
The mode selected will be displayed on the screen (marked in red).
A selection screen will be displayed if set to SCN.
Press the  and  button (marked in red) to select a scene mode.
On the screen, a guide will be displayed following a sample image.
Once you have selected the scene mode, press the OK/FUNC button to confirm.
The icon of the selected scene mode will be displayed (marked in red).
Some scene modes may adjust ISO sensitivity, white balance and other settings automatically.
