Twin sampling technology provides a combination of maximum dispensing speed and optimum accuracy even at sample volumes as low as 1.6 µl. The total reaction volume has been reduced to 120 µl/test thus decreasing running costs to a minimum. The maintenance free twin cuvette wheel dry bath incubator holds 330 cuvettes enabling up to 1600 photometric tests/hour.  The ISE unit of the AU2700 with a throughput of up to 270 samples per hour completes the high speed system.

Serum, plasma, urine and CSF can be run in parallel using the barcoded Olympus flexible racks.   Urgent samples can be processed on the dedicated STAT rotor, which can also hold calibration and control materials under cooled conditions.

To ensure system reliability, safety and ease of use the AU2700 uses the same state of art technology and interface design common to all AU systems.   

Already prepared for future needs the AU2700, like the AU640 and AU5400, has been designed for integration into lab automation. In the future you will be able to upgrade your laboratory to benefit from Olympus automation systems.
