The benefits of minimally invasive total laparoscopic hysterectomy have been clearly shown during the last two decades, yet the majority of hysterectomies are still being performed in the traditional way. Fear of major complications and difficulties in applying complex technology in a normal OR setting go some way towards explaining this. This training course will therefore address all these aspects and show a way towards safe and efficient total laparoscopic hysterectomy.

Dedicated user trainings are needed in order to successfully integrate endosonography into clinical practice. The aim of our workshop is to present the indications for EUS-FNA, EBUS and EBUS-TBNA and to discuss the place of these modalities in the diagnostic armamentarium. Some of the most experienced doctors in this field will be gathered at the workshop to demonstrate their skills plus 'tips and tricks' during live video transmitted procedures. In several hands-on sessions the participants will be able to perform EBUS-TBNA and EUS-FNA in training models.

Let's talk about it - again!
The aims of this symposium are to
- identify critical incidents and complications
- communicate unforeseen events
- develop strategies to avoid or minimise complications
- demonstrate therapeutical measures for the eventuality of a complication
The constant evolution, not only of imaging, but also of invasive or surgical concepts, requires a permanent process of reflection.
